Our Philosophy
Eleven Migraine is built with a privacy-first philosophy. Your health data is personal. We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit your personal data to any third party. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Data Storage
All migraine data you log is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
If you are signed into iCloud, your data is automatically synced to your private iCloud container via Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This uses your personal iCloud account and is encrypted by Apple. We have no access to your iCloud data.
HealthKit Integration
Eleven can optionally read health data from Apple Health, including:
- Sleep analysis
- Activity data (steps, exercise minutes, active energy)
- Menstrual cycle data
This data is read-only, processed entirely on your device, and never transmitted to any external server. You control exactly which categories to share via the Health app.
Weather Data
Eleven uses the Open-Meteo API to fetch barometric pressure and air quality data. Your location coordinates are truncated to 2 decimal places (~1km precision) before any request. No personal identifiers are sent. Open-Meteo requires no account or API key.
What We Don't Do
- No analytics SDKs (no Firebase, Mixpanel, or Amplitude)
- No advertising frameworks
- No third-party tracking
- No crash reporting that transmits data externally
- No user accounts or authentication
- No data sold or shared with third parties
Data That Leaves Your Device
- iCloud sync — to your own private iCloud account (controlled by Apple)
- Weather requests — truncated coordinates to Open-Meteo (no personal identifiers)
- Your exports — data you explicitly export using the in-app export feature
Data Deletion
- Within the app: Settings > Danger Zone > Delete All Data
- Delete the app: removes all locally stored data
- iCloud: Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage
Children's Privacy
Eleven Migraine is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
